Our workshops welcome friends, families, and couples to dive into a world of pottery making.
From lively Mimosa Saturdays to cozy Date Nights, each session brings people together and inspires joy.
Here, every workshop is a celebration of artistry—where we honor our roots, open doors to both beginners and pros, and add that signature Mossel Clay magic to every workshop.
With a focus on hand building techniques, Antionette ensures that every session is a blend of fun and artistic freedom.
Mossel Clay is the sister studio to Baikt Ceramics in Cape Town, founded in 2018 by Mike, whose vision for innovative and unrestricted creativity continues to inspire.
Together, they bring you a space where imagination knows no bounds, and every creation made with fun and relaxation.

Pottery Club – That’s what Mossel Clay is all about. Real people. Real moments. And sometimes, real lumpy bowls you still love anyway. Want to join in the fun this July? We are fully booked on Thursday nights, but have a spot or 2 open on Wednesdays .

Saturday Mimosa Workshops – Mimosas, Mud & Magic – Women’s Month at Mossel Clay where you can sip on bubbly and unwind with some hands-on pottery. It's the perfect mix of relaxation and creativity, making weekends in Mossel Bay feel extra special.

Date Night – Last Friday of the Month - Every month!
The clay is soft. The lights are low. The music is vibing. The romance? Celebrating Her – One Romantic Clay Date at a Time. Session where couples (or besties) come to connect, laugh, and get muddy in the best way. BYOB, we’ll supply the clay (and the vibe).
Clay & Candle
9 August
In this cosy, beginner-friendly session, you’ll hand-
build a beautiful ceramic candle holder and pour
your own beeswax candle to go with it. We’ll guide
you step-by-step through the process, so no
experience is needed — just bring your curiosity (and
maybe a friend).
